How to Use Egg for Dry Hair

Dry hair is is a problem which in very common and is faced by women and men of  any age. When the hair strands are not able to retain the moisture or didn’t get enough then the problem of dry hair arise. Not enough quantity of the moisture will make your hair appear lifeless, frizzy, and dull.

If you are living in dry climate, using heated styling tools and harsh shampoos, and swimming in water containing chlorine are some of the factors as a result you get dry hair. Commercial conditioners and shampoos will make your hair more frizzy and dry. But don’t worry you can use natural easily available natural products like egg for dry hair.

Is Egg Good For Dry Hair?

  • Eggs are protein rich which are helpful in hair follicles strengthening and helps a role in prevention of dry hair associated breakage.

1. Egg Mask for damaged hair

  • Take 2 eggs and break them in a bowl.
  • Make it frothy by whisking it thoroughly
  • Now wet your scalp and hair.
  • Apply the eggs you whisked all over your scalp and hair.
  • Secure the hair with in a bun and leave it for about 30 to 60  minutes.
  • The rinse with cool water thoroughly and use a mild shampoo after it.
  • This process must be repeated 2 – 3 times in a week.

2. (Egg and Yogurt Pack)

Yogurt have proteins which helps to strengthen and nourish dry hair strands. It prevention from breaking for them.

  • Take plain yogurt 2 – 3 teaspoon and whisk with a fork in a bowl.
  • Take yogurt and then take an egg break it and add to it. Mix with a spoon thoroughly.
  • Apply this mixture to all over your scalp and hair. Cover hair with a shower cap.
  • Leave it for about 60 minutes then use cool water to rinse hair and use mild shampoo after it.
  • Repeat this method 2 times in one week.

3. Mayonnaise and Egg Mask for frizzy hair

Mayonnaise is rich in protein, amino acids and is loaded with the goodness of egg yolks, helps to promote hair strength. It smoothen rough hair strands and moisturizes dry hair.

  • Take mayonnaise 2 – 3 teaspoons in a bowl.
  • Now take an egg break and add it to mayonnaise.
  • Whisk using a fork all the ingredients.
  • Apply this all over your hair and scalp, cover from root to the tip of hair with mixture.
  • Leave it for about 60 minutes then use cool water to rinse hair and use mild shampoo after it.
  • Repeat this method 1 to 2 times in one week.

4. (Egg and Honey Pack)

  • Take raw organic honey half cup.
  • Take and break couple of eggs then add it to honey.
  • Take a fork and whisk the mixture thoroughly.

  • Cut a ripe avocado into 2 halves.

  • Mash an overripe banana using fork.
  • Take an egg break it and the add to mashed banana.
  • Take a spoon and mix it thoroughly now apply this mask to your wet scalp all over.
  • Wash it with cold water and a mild-shampoo after leaving for about 30 – 40 minutes.
  • Repeat this process two times in a week.

 

7. (Egg and Coconut Oil Pack)

  • Take an egg and break in a bowl now by using a fork whisk it.
  • Add coconut oil 2 teaspoon  to it and use a spoon to mix it.

  • Cover your hair by wearing a shower cap and wait for 30 minutes.

8. (Egg and Lemon Pack)

Lemon juice contains vitamin C which strengthen the scalp strands, It also promotes the circulation of blood to the hair that helps to strengthen and nourish the scalp follicles. Compound limonene found in lemon helps to rejuvenate frizzy and dry hair.

  • Take a couple of eggs and break in a bowl and whisk using a fork thoroughly.

  • Take a couple of eggs and break in a bowl and use a spoon to whisk.
  • Add full fat milk 2 teaspoon to eggs and use the spoon to mix.
  • This mixture should be applied all over to your damp hair and scalp and cover with a shower cap.
  • Leave it for about 60 minutes and then use cold water to rinse it and followed by a mild-shampoo.
  • This process must be repeated 3 – 4 times in a week.

 

10. (Egg and Olive Oil Pack)

 To seal the scalp cuticles and heal damaged and dry hair vitamin E plays best role and is found in rich quantity in olive oil. Antioxidants  and vitamin A of olive oil seal in moisture by protecting the keratin in your hair strands.
  • Take an egg and break in a bowl and use a fork to whisk.
  • Add extra virgin olive oil 2 teaspoon to it and use a spoon to mix it.
  • Take this mixture apply it all over the wet scalp and gently massage for about 5 minutes.
  • Cover with a shower cap and wait for 30 minutes.
  • Use cold water to rinse your scalp followed by a mld-shampoo.

  • Use Fresh eggs in your treatments and remedies every time you.
  • To make it easier to spread the mixture over your scalp wet your hair before applying the mixture.
  • Egg scalp packs can drop from head and can turn messy, so after application of these packs cover your head using a shower cap.
  • To get rid of egg smell wash your hair with a mild organic-shampoo after application of the treatment.
  • Use cold water to rinse your scalp after the application of the packs. Hot water will curdles the eggs and will stick to the scalp.
  • Adding a few drops of essential oil to these hair packs will cover the up the smell of the egg.
  • Wash your scalp with a hydrating shampoo which contains moisturizing properties.
  • To prevent from drying condition your your scalp after shampooing.
  • Minimize the use of heated styling tools and blow driers.
